The commission here was to design a contemporary look for the front and rear gardens of a property nestling on the banks of the Clyde. The front garden consists of a series of stepping inlaid with small panels of stainless steel. Blue frosted Perspex was used to make a number of raised beds, which were then planted with grasses for movement and texture. These are uplit from within at night providing a dramatic entrance to the garden.
For the back garden we chose to frame the stunning views with planting and created a simple seating area with untreated green oak benches. A fire basket is placed within the seats for warmth at night. Black granite slabs make a simple contemporary path.
